Obeisance: What We Owe to the Best of All Creation ﷺ (Detroit)

“The Prophet is worthier of the believers than their own selves.” (Qur’an 33:6)

Obeisance: it’s not a word everyone recognizes, but its meanings fit very well with what is owed to Rasulullah , the Best of All Creation.

Join us for enlightening lectures and spirited discussion on how we can reclaim the beauty of deferential obedience in an anti-authority age. This will be our first non-virtual event in two years, where we cautiously and with gratitude come back together in person.

“The Prophet is worthier of the believers than their own selves.” (Qur’an 33:6)

Being obedient and showing respect inwardly and outwardly to those above us are outdated concepts. Is there any benefit in the modern age to adopting a deferential attitude toward our Prophet ﷺ ? How can we show him obeisance without compromising what we want out of life?
